Beginning in the village of Kilsyth, just off the Stirling road the Tak-Ma-Doon Road is a classic Scottish hill climb that just keeps cyclists guessing. This pitchy ascent is packed full of twists, false endings and gradients of up to 18.2%. Even for regular riders this can feel like a road that never ends!
The scenery here is as Scottish as the road’s name, with a hump-backed bridge, windswept hillsides and an epic view from the car park at the top – an ideal spot for catching your breath before a speedy descent, watch out for the burn!
My art prints have been hand drawn and digitally painted in my Glasgow studio. They been created and inspired by my riding and my passion for cycling.
